Here's one that happened yesterday that annoyed me.

Agreed to help a friend with a quest (Captured Son in Factions) and was sitting around in Zen Daijun on my Dervish waiting for him to come on, and obviously didn't have a full party with me because yeah, had to be able to add my friend. Some girl kept trying to invite me to her party over and over and I kept rejecting it. She whispered me going "Accept my invitation, I need help!" I replied that I was waiting for someone and had stuff to do, and she got all pissy and started swearing at me.

That happened four separate times yesterday while in Zen Daijun, too. I don't mind people asking for help. What I do mind (very much) is when they won't stop and then cop an attitude when you don't agree to their request. Do people have any manners any longer?

Another separate annoyance. I was in Lion's Arch yesterday and a couple of guys were repeatedly asking in local chat about how you get a tonic. Well, I look in my storage and I had a few left over frosty tonics from Wintersday, so I open up trade with them and give them each a couple for free. Now all week long, every single time I log on I'm getting deluged with everybody and their uncle whispering me begging for free tonics. Geez, no good deed goes unpunished I guess...

I don't mind people asking for help. So long as they've remembered, you know, basic common courtesies. Ask first, be nice about it, and don't act like you're entitled to help - and don't get snotty when you're turned down. If she'd been polite about it I would have told her that if she could wait a half hour I'd help her with whatever it was she needed. But nope, she shot herself in the foot there.

And gah. I can see how that can be annoying. Sometimes I end up with junk that's semi-decent but not usable for me, and I don't want to merch it, so I just give it away to people. Thankfully I've never had THAT happen though.

UWSC Groups that shout "OMG NOOB SIN" BLACKLIST, whenever a player dies in UW as if they never died or are born pro.

People running cookie cutter builds as if they are the only bars in game.

RA players who shout REZ U NOOB with a ranger locked on me waiting to dshot the sig.

My pet peeve is just the general rudeness I see a lot of the time.. .but I'll admit I've met some great people in the game.. but they don't take it very seriously...and neither do I.

If you're going to invite yourself into my party MULTIPLE times.. at least say Hi! Is common courtesy too much to ask in this game?

By the same token, please don't try to carry on a converstion with me when we're actively fighting a mob... I'm not ignoring you, I'm just busy trying to keep you from getting killed because your talking to me and not fighting.

If you die...too bad... it's a game, get over it. If I die I won't blame you! In fact I'll probably laugh and hope it was an epic death (like ALMOST getting away before getting smoked)

Physically only is your maturity for the nature argument. Nature has nothing to do with how emotionally mature you are.

The household standards you are raised in determine your maturity. If your parents tell you to not laugh at childish things, you are going to end up really mature at an early age. The environment you're raised in = nurture argument.

Therefore. Age doesn't determine how mature you are.

Take Psychology if you're confused.

People come up with all sorts of rediculous claims in PvP...I once had someone in Fort Aspenwood tell me they were going to report me for using 16 Domination Magic and 16 Fast Casting on one bar (I wasn't playing Signet of Illusions at the time). Oddly enough it was an Elementalist who thought trying to kill a Power Block Mesmer was the best use of their time. After several Power Blocks they decided I must be hacking. It's the great immaturity of the PvP side of the game that annoys me, and often stops me playing it.

This pees me off no end. Apparently since I use a female char I should respond well to random strangers hitting on me on that basis. No... And then theres a prompt hissy fit when I refuse to provide msn details or cyber. The ones who advertise in all chat looking for an online gf fall in the same category IMO. GW does have a social aspect but that doesnt mean the population of the opposite sex chars (which may not have the same gender player behind them) are there just for your gratification. Zip it up and google porn, theyre just as pixellated!

Yup I dont like beggars much either. You can see them running around outposts going from lvl20 to lvl20, anyone who has titles/nice armor/minis, begging for cash/weapons/minis. Like the majority of the community I earn my cash by playing or farming and if I want something I save up for it then buy it. But beggars think that doesnt apply to them right? Its easier to get someone who has already done the work to give you things for free. Eventually someone gets annoyed and gives them what they want to shut them up. 10mins later...theyre back again begging for more because they now know someone will give them stuff.

This baffles me. The higher end PvPers are so broke they are selling invites. Sad for the guild that devalues their members and sinks so low. Sad for the buyers who will actually pay for a screencap of a shiny cape.

Scammer trying to get people outside to drop their weps so they can steal them. Ffs...

Another scammer. Going into the newbie areas and passing off that this turns into a beetle pet (like moa egg) when its actually an utterly worthless white collector drop. How pathetic can you get just for the sake of scamming online gold?

Thats how pathetic you can get. Preying on the newly post-sear players who would see 200e as a fortune. But oh! You wanted 2 of them? How handy that your mate with the same tag here offers to sell the second one to me for just 10k so I can sell you both? B*£$h please....

I play, or used to, a lot of Oblivion and Fallout 3.

Both are highly modifiable, in most cases mods make the game.

Guess what the most popular aesthetic mods are?

Yup...nude mods.

There are a lot of lonely people in the gaming community, no doubt.
